Overview
Pepperdine Equestrian Campground, located in the Modoc National Forest, offers a serene and mostly shaded environment for horse camping enthusiasts. The campground provides campsites equipped with 12′ X 12′ metal corrals. A short trail connects the campground to the Summit Trail, which leads south into the South Warner Wilderness.

Know Before You Go
- No wilderness permits are required for entering the South Warner Wilderness.
- A California Campfire Permit is required for using a camp stove, backpack stove, charcoal barbeque, or having a campfire outside the developed campground.
- The Summit Trail can be accessed via a short trail from the campground, offering access to the South Warner Wilderness.
